Hi, I’m SHARON VICKERIE.

Born in Canada and raised in Guyana,  I owe my distinguished palette and work ethic to my Caribbean Grandmother, Mom and Aunties that had me in the hot kitchen cooking chicken curry at the young age of twelve. Mixing spice, passion, and drive  in equal parts, is the story of my love for food and wanting to share my creations with the world. When I’m not making new dishes in the kitchen, you can catch me sitting in front of the television watching old “Julia Childs” episodes, at church praising God, or spending time indulging in retail therapy.

I travel to continue to taste the authentic cuisines across the globe and determine the best methods to add them into my signature dishes. God bless my husband for always being willing to try every dish that I come up with off the top of my head. Uniting food and family has led me on the path to start catering and invite you to be a part of my food family. So come along for the ride and be blessed by “ A Chef’s Touch”

To bring farm fresh to table ingredient to you and to let the food speak for itself, simplicity at its best is my core approach. I am true believer that you should “eat what you love and love what you eat”.

I always dreamed of having my own food business, whether it was to be a Private Chef or catering, my passion was to always cook good food and to share my passion and love of food with everyone.

2022, my dream has become a reality. A Chef’s Touch has been created where I can share my love and passion of food and cooking thru my dishes with you. With determination, passion, and love, if you dream it you can build it.
